I would probably order it online from somewhere like House of Brides and pay the rush fee.

order a second dress NOW in a larger size and hope the first place will let you return it and get your money back…

I’m sure they can rush it. This just happened with my sister, her bridesmaids dress took like 10 weeks to come in and was too small so they got her a new one in a week.

If you find the right tailor, they can fix it. Just go to them ASAP!! Last year i was in 2 weddings where when i ordered the BM dresses i was 2 sizes smaller than when the wedding rolled around. And one of them was a Bill Levkoff dress. It can be done!

Would your SIL mind if you got a corset back put into the dress? This is the best way to make a dress ‘bigger’ if you can’t order another one.

Unfortunately, it’s likely that it cannot be let out two inches. Seam allowances are usually only 1/4″.

Both Wedding Shoppe Inc. and Best Bridal Prices can rush the order in 7 weeks (WSI is $40 extra, BBP is $80, though WSI’s dress price is $30 cheaper anyway).
