@befito:  This is exciting!  Don’t be nervous, if they’re good people, they’ll be excited for you.  If they’re not good people, you shouldn’t worry about their feelings anyway.  😉

The last time I put in my 2 weeks notice it was the BEST thing I ever did, and way less painful than I expected.  Your life is changing for the better, be excited!  Go for it!!

I just did this yesterday. It took weeks to build up the courage, but I feel a million times better. Now just to make it through the next two weeks….!

I was nauseous the morning I turned in my notice but it went much better than anticipated! Just explain it in such a way and have a written notice ready thanking them for the opportunity they’ve given you and yada yada 🙂
