Some days I can be so silly.
My bf and I have been talking about either an August 2010 wedding or a Winter 2011 wedding.
For the August idea, we’ve been talking about blush, black and gold as our colors.
Today I was fooling around at work and found colors I really like for the winter idea which are gold, silver, and creams – it’s not the traditional colors for a Jan/Feb wedding but still wintery enough and warm enough to go with the season. I can’t seem to find it now to show my bf. So I need your help to find the gallery. I’ve spent the last hour looking for it on the two sites I was looking at and still can’t seem to find this inspiration. It was on either the knot or martha stewart weddings and I’m lost. I am 98% sure it is on martha stewart weddings but can’t find it…please help me.

Well I was way off. I had to mentally retrace my steps on those two wedding sites.
Here is the link to the slideshow. I think I’m in love this for a winter wedding. It’s still wintery but yet very romantic and traditional which is important to us. http://weddings.theknot.com/Real-Weddings/29386/view.aspx?type=1&id=29386
what do you think of this for a winter wedding?

I checked the link and I love the colors! They’re great together. I am really loving winter weddings lately. Shoulda thought of that before I booked a June wedding! Lol.

That is beautiful! I’d been thinking about an icy blue and champagne for a winter wedding and am slowly falling in love with the idea, but that slideshow might make me change my mind!

Those inpsiration photos are great and would be awesome in the winter. Although, I think you can use metallics during any season–they’re timeless!

I agree with Jessie—metallics are good at pretty much any time of year. Beautiful choices.
