The HTML code is kinda going crazy -- can you give us the name of your La Sposa gown? (Mine is La Sposa too!)
gosh I have no idea what happened there I think I should just erase my prior post and stick it in here. My dress is called Fantasia and I am still looking around for a veil but kind of clueless which one would go with my dress. What dress do you have MelissaB?
Cleaned it up for ya. :-)
Was the post written in Word, and then pasted in? That often results in extra HTML code like there was above...
oh my God! thanks Mr Bee! I was like what the hell is going on!! Next time I will just directly write my post instead of cut and paste frm word.
It's a beautiful dress. There's a lot going on, so I'd recommend a shorter veil, something that ends before the flower and layers start in. Good luck.
I would agree with something shorter, maybe fingertip at the longest. Your dress has a lot going on, so a simpler veil would look nice with it. I found my veil at the bridal shop where I found my dress, but you can also find some online - and sometimes in the Classifieds here on Weddingbee! Let us know what you decide!
Your dress is so gorgeous! It really has a ton of beautiful detailing going on, so I don't think you need much in terms of a veil.
If you're open to something of a vintage flair look, a simple fascinator with a birdcage veil could be really gorgeous. If you're up for something more traditional and girly (which your dress suggests to me!) I'd go with a simple, plain cut edge, cathedral or chapel length veil. It will just give you a little bit of detail behind you without overpowering all of the gorgeousness on your gown.
I hope that helps! Good luck!
In order to echo the lovely ruffles on your dress, you could consider a nice finished edge to a relatively short veil. Before I decided I was a birdcage girl, I was going to go for an elbow length or finger tip tulle veil. Beautiful dress! Please show us what you end up deciding on!
The dress is so gorgeous! What about a very simple drop veil, like this one:
The sheerness and simplicity would really highlight the great detailing on the dress, I think. You can also see photos of a bride in a drop veil in Mrs. Shortcake's recaps.

I think something like these would be nice:

All of them are from Pronovias.
Good luck!
thanks everyone! I really like the idea of going simple and esp. the drop veil. I think I will look into that and let you know if I do purchase it and maybe post pics. Thanks again!

I recently purchased my dress from la sposa. I've been trying to figure out which veil to buy that would go with this dress. I have no idea! I'm 5'6" and have a small frame. I don't want to be swamped by a large veil but it looks like all the models on the picture with this dress have huge veils. Does anyone have any suggestions for this dress? and also where’s the best place to purchase a reasonably priced veil?
