How about making pulled pork or chicken ahead of time and reheating it on the grill in a pan, serve with grills. (Or reheat in a crockpot in the AM and keep warm by wrapping with a towel then freeing up the grill_

You could do different kebabs and drizzle with pesto when done- the trick is to not put more than one ingredient on each kebab because they cook at different rates (mushrooms, onions, cherry tomatoes, red peppers, chicken, shrimp)

mini skewers that dont need cooking, tomato, mozzerella& artichoke heart  or apple,  brie and raisins, or marinated mushrooms, roasted red pepper, pepperoni.

Corn Dog Cups- cook sausage or hot dogs in a muffin pan with corn bread mix- reheat on the grill

Wonton cups- bake some wontons in a cup, then when you get there fill the cups with a dip such as buffalo chicken dip or chicken curry and grape salad or black bean, corn and avocado salad etc

It its cold, bring some apple cide and a pot to heat it, add rum to those people who want it!

Make chili in a crockpot and set up a fixings bar of sour cream, cheese, jalapenos, Scoops chips, etc…  They can make chili or use it for chili nachos, or just dip.  http://allrecipes.com/recipes/soups-stews-and-chili/slow-cooker-soups/slow-cooker-chili/Top.aspx

You can also do pulled pork sandwiches.  Use your crock pot to make the pulled pork and keep it warm.  So easy!  http://allrecipes.com/recipe/slow-cooker-pulled-pork/detail.aspx?event8=1&prop24=SR_Title&e11=slow%20cooker%20pulled%20pork&e8=Quick%20Search&event10=1&e7=Recipe%20List (do not use diet root beer!!! use Barq’s preferably)

Lasagna tends to stay warm if properly covered.  Plus, you could easily put that on the grill to keep it warm once at the tailgate.

You sould check out Walmart or the local party store for cheap metal buffett trays with butane heating cannisters that you light to keep food warm.  Like these: http://www.partycity.com/product/buffet+chafing+dish+set+8pc.do?sortby=ourPicks&size=all&navSet=176204

You could do pita or english muffin pizzas pretty fast.  http://allrecipes.com/recipe/pita-pizza/

*I need to go tailgating!  Never been.  My college didn’t encourage it because our stadium was located in an unsafe neighborhood.

I taligate all the time for football games and we have fallen in love with french dip sandwiches.  You make the roast ahead of time in the crockpot with beef broth, beer, and spices and then shred the meat.  Put it in a foil pan on your grill just to warm it and serve on rolls.  We love it!!!!
