I’d definitely use a bigger canvas/piece of wood/etc to space out the wording a bit better. It looks like one giant run on sentence with the letters all mushed together like that. If you want a border you could scallop some tape and tape off the edges to give it border when you spray paint. (which I am assuming is what you did?)

I think you need to re-do this with a ruler and properly space everything, as well as get rid of the un-necessary punctuation. That + the squished words makes it hard to read. And less glitter – right now it doesn’t scream “wedding” to me, more like sweet 16 party.

I’m sorry I don’t know a better way to say it and still be honest. The concept could be really nice, but the execution needs work. Good luck!

I think it would look better if you did pull out a ruler, but that is up to you. I also second using a larger peice of canvas or something. It is such a great idea! I wish I had that talent!

Ah, ok. I made something similiar with quotes on them last year for christmas gifts. I used a canvas and wrapped it in fabric…wrapping paper with an awesome print on it could work as well. Then I got vinyl letters from a craft store and put them on the canvas. Then I just spray painted over the entire canvas then peeled the letters off.

That may be a little easier than hand tracing every letter. They also make glitter spray paint that looks almost identical to the glittery pretties on your board. 🙂

    My suggestions are in love.

You should redo it because I couldn’t read the second line at all. I had to keep looking at it because that last “e” in families somehow threw me for a loop being too close to that “s.”

Also, I think “unite as one” is redundant, so you might write, “become one,” instead. Smile

I think you need to use proper spaces instead of the fullstops because it is quite difficult to read. I also think you should definitely get a ruler and measure everything so it looks neater. Other than that I love it. I can’t believe you did all that by hand! great job.

I agree with the PPs about re-doing it.  It is really hard to read with that font, the spacings and the periods between every word.

It definitely needs to be redone. I would say use a ruler so that it’s all spaced correctly and not crooked and also take out all of those unnecessary periods. Right now it’s pretty unreadable. I think the idea is cute and the colors are nice but I don’t think you need to add anything to it…just re-do it.

I agree with PPs – get rid of the extra punctuation, space it properly (both in terms of letters and lines) and have it lined up well, as it looks like it dips down quite a lot at the bottom. Did you think about doing it using a ruler and a pencil before using your sharpie? It might make it easier to check first before it’s all finished.
