I  look at rings ALL the time. My boyfriend is going to propose with a family ring and then we’re going to pick one I can wear together so I get all giddy looking at pictures.. I want to have an idea of what I like!

@PoppyRose:  LOL! You’re not alone! SO asked me if I had a pinterest board of ring/wedding stuff, and I had to admit that I didn’t! That lit a fire under my butt… I started ring-looking like nobody’s business! I wasn’t able to stop thinking about it so much until I managed to find a style I really like… so the next time he hints around for tips, I’ll have something to tell him!

Oh dear XD I almost certainly need to stop as well! My recent Internet history would probably frighten off even the most marriage minded of men ^^;

Myproblem is that I see it as a kind of challenge, where my dream budget is really quite small (£100-£300) I started out hoping to find reassurance that there were rings I like in that price range. Well I found just about a tonne of them XD so while I have been reassured I’ve also gone a little nuts looking at thousands of rings online ^^; though I think I’m at a point where I’ve looked at nearly all of them now, so perhaps I do need to stop hunting… (probably won’t though lol)

@PoppyRose:  I know SO is getting a custom made ring, but I still somehow manage to find myself on ring sites and even show him different ones on occasion… maybe we can start a “ring porn anonymous” thread or something lol.

I started going ring crazy but decided not to build up my hopes too much. I eventually found a picture of one I liked and sent it to his facebook inbox. Afterwards I stopped completely andthen went dress crazy!

@PoppyRose:  When work is painfully slow, I have 3 tabs open in my browser at all times: Wedding Bee, bridepower, and the jewelry store where we found THE RING. I feel like since I don’t know when the ring is being bought or given to me, I sort of “visit” it online. It makes the day go by a little faster.

They blocked Pinterest at work (GASP!) so instead of planning the decorations, I now plan myself head to toe 🙂
