My SO prefers gummy candies – really anything sour – over chocolate.

    However, my ex loved chocolate.

And I prefer gummy candies (:

DH is more of a hard candy person… like Runts and Nerds.  Altho he doesn’t snack too much, it’s more often on chips and pretzels.  I like it cuz he keeps his paws off my chocolate!!!!

@yanamari:  He likes gummy/chewey sour candy all the way! He stays away from cake, brownies, any kind of chocolate…unless it’s in ice cream form.

So yeah, your theory is right in this case! haha. Good observation ha

He likes sour gummy snacks and fruit roll-ups. I think your theory is correct!

I prefer gummy candies, sweet tarts, sour jacks etc. My FI loves Twizzlers. Those are his favorite. But he also buys a lot of chocolate. He loves Reeses. So, I voted both. He just likes junk food in general!!

Out of the two, he’d pick candy. But he’s not much of a snack guy to begin with – he’d rather stuff himself on meat.

DH actually prefers chocolate, but only white chocolate (which let’s be honest, isn’t really chocolate at all) or milk chocolate if it’s somehow involved with peanut butter.

My husband isn’t home right now but he is not the biggest chocolate lover. I know he likes it, but he doesn’t reach for it over something else. I’m pretty sure he would go for gummy candies.

My FI doesn’t like anything sugary. I am the sugar freak! He likes salty snacks. I guess I could have picked chocolate for chocolate covered pretzels, but overall, he doesn’t care for either!

Yes, my husband prefers gummies or skittles or licorice or starburst…all the things that are NOT chocolate, and therefore are inferior, in my mind.

I know my BIL is like that, too. He always picks fruity sorbets over chocolately ice cream, which I find LUDICROUS!

My husband does have a sweet sport of chocolate-peanut-butter things, though.

    He LOVES chocolate.

I know other guys who can’t stand it.

    Everyone has their own taste!

I don’t know about gummy candies, but I find on average, guys prefer salty/spicy/”savory” to sweet, and vice versa for women.

If I had no idea what a particular group of guys might enjoy, I’d bring some chips and something with hot sauce. For the ladies…chocolate and something else sweet. But I’d rather know what they actually preferred, because there’s so much individual variation!

FI likes his sweet things to be fruit flavored while I am a chocolate fiend, the darker the better:) However my mom is kinda meh about chocolate while my father loves it.
