I agree with the straps. They are so lovely and really balance you out from top to bottom.

I definitely vote for straps!!!

Straps! They are classic and go with the vintage-y feel of the lace on your dress. Beautiful!

Straps ! Maybe because of the 2nd picture, you look less comfortable in it. And if you allow me to be totally honest, the first thing I looked at in the 2nd pictures are your boobs. Because of the strapless, it brings the attention to this part of your body so that’s where my eyes were naturally drawn. The first dress, on the other hand, the first thing I saw was your small waist, then I followed up the strap details to your beautiful smile. I think the 1rst dress, aside from being absolutely lovely, puts the attention exactly where you want it. 🙂

Throwing a wrench into this…
I think that if you have the dress made strapless to look like the last photo, then go strapless! The first strapless pic is a little awkard, and to agree with NauticalDisaster, my eyes went right to the bust initally. I think if done correctly, the overall look will be great. As nice as the dress looks with straps, I feel like that look has been done a lot before- making is strapless has a unique factor 😀 June wedding is going to be hot, too- will you want all the extra fabric on your shoulders? I say go strapless!

I like straps, but in general I tend to prefer wedding dresses with straps. All the strapless ones end up looking the same to me.

With the straps I notice you first, strapless I notice the dress first. I say keep the straps.

I prefer the straps. Your wait looks tiny and the straps add s ok mething to the back of your dress. The strapless version does not compliment your top half IMO.

Keep the pretty straps! The look is more balanced and draws everyone’s eyes up to your happy face.
For me, removing the straps would add a bit more stress (will the seamstress mess it up? will it fit correctly? etc)

Please keep the straps. The design elongates your torso and gives you a sleeker line. Strapless dresses are difficult to pull off, and do not look good on most women, which makes their popularity all the more surprising.

Details on where you are getting married?
Food for thought: I’m getting married in the Church, and will have tulle removable sleeves, for the reception I’ll remove the sleeves and let the hair down for totally diff. look.
I like them both just depends on what your details are 🙂

I vote straps.
Would your dress even stay up without straps before major alterations?
