Omg, I completely FROZE during our first kiss and i didn't do anything with my arms. The picture looks terrible! I am upset! My husband thinks it's awkward but not so bad. What do you guys think?? Please give me your honest opinions

Awww don't worry :) It looks like your husband was caught up in the moment and leaned in first, that's all. It's very cute!
You'll be telling your daughter someday about how you froze for your first kiss! Pictures with character are so much more fun.
I don't think it looks horrible either! I think that by you mentioning that you froze makes me notice is more though.

I think it's still sweet... it's a little like...oh I'm so relieved... and he looks like...YES! I get to kiss her!

If it makes you feel any better, my husband went in for the kiss before "you may kiss the bride" was ever said, and I got confused and thought he wanted to hold my hand, so when his hand went on my hip, mine went with it, and I've got an elbow sticking out behind me in our first kiss photo, haha.
I don't think it ruins the photo - I think it just makes it more uniquely and perfectly yours!

I think it looks beautiful! Hands down by your sides like that is, to me, a very "open" position. It's like you are giving yourself over to his kiss. :)
That's an adorable picture! It looks like you just haven't raised your arms yet. Just don't tell anyone that you think there's something wrong with the picture when you show it to them!

@PinkPinstripes: Thank you so much! True, pictures with character are so fun! My husband teases me though cuz he says "you don't look like you're enjoying the kiss" LOL. This is definitely a picture that will tell a story in the future :)
I looked at the picture before I read what you wrote and I couldn't figure out what was wrong with it!!! When I read you looked like you froze, I totally disagree!!!
Did anyone in your family take any other photos of the first kiss?
It's a beautiful picture! I think we all feel a little awkward kissing in front of all of those people.

@Ryansgirl: Thanks Ryansgirl! My husband didn't give me time to think he just went for the kiss, lol, I didn't know what to do, lol. Here's another pic but this one is taken from far away, still you can see my arms just dangling like a zombie, lol.

I actually think this is a GORGEOUS photo!
To me, you don't look frozen at all... if I saw this photo and didn't read your comments about how you felt... my interpretation would be that your husband's face just looks SO happy and and excited and I love the way he's cupping your face in his hands... and you just look totally lost in the moment and I would imagine weak at the knees.
I don't see a "frozen" bride... I see a bride who is melting at the loving kiss her new husband is giving her.
I love it too! When your husband gives you a hard time just tell him it's because he took your breathe away! ;)

Not ruined at all. Very sweet, actually. It's as though the intensity overwhelmed you, which it did, and that's more special than if it had been different.
OMG i totally have the same problem - a completely dead arm!! it looks like i'm in shock. AWFUL. i was very upset at first but its the only pro pic i have of our first kiss, so no choice :(
@andy113: That is still a gorgeous photo! It's hard to think about what to do with your arms when you're in bliss, but at the same time being watched by dozens of people :-/
I have never thought about this moment - but now I feel like we have to practice! I don't think it's awkward. It looks like he just couldn't wait to kiss his wife!
@neontl: Yes!! I recommend that you rehearse your first kiss so that it gets captured nicely :)
