My mum has bought around 15 sets of gifts for family members that we will be giving guests at the wedding. Its a tradtion in my culture that gifts are given to close family members.
I’ve tried to come up with new ideas for wrapping these presents which consist of a queen size sheet set and towel. Originally I thought I’d put them in a white box but then got creative, what do you think of this? So far I’ve received mixed responses.
Please be as honest as possible. The gifts are sitting in a basket with black lace and a dusty pink (wedding theme colour) grosgrain ribbon.

I think they look super pretty!! But… one thought… there’s something about pink with black lace that makes me think of lingerie…

Agree with the pp, i think nix the lace for a black ribbon so less lacy unmentionable look going om.

@loving_life: +1. it would be pretty in different colors though

I agree with other pp. While the packaging is pretty and creative, it looks like something you would receive as a gift at your bachelorette party.
If your wedding colors are black and blush, maybe you could do a black box with a pink ribbon? Or a pink box with black ribbon?

Thanks for your suggestions. I’m surprised by the poll results. I had assumed everyone would hate it based on the response I got from my FI and BM. I love it but may make a couple of changes as you’ve suggested.
