Until I started getting bridal! During my dress shopping I had a very strict budget and prety much only pulled dresses in my buget. Then I tried on a dress and fell in love only to be in total sticker shock as I handed over my credit card paying for a dress $660 over my intended budget not including alterations! One bonus is that incuded in that is having the dress made for my hight since it has scalloped lace edging.
When I found my dress I also tried it on with a $290 blinged out sash. The first time I tried on dreses I fell for a bridal headband at Alfred Angelo for a cool $300. And now I am trying to find something I love for a headband and only seem to like things on esty and other sites for over $300 which I refuse to pay!
For my sash I spent $100 on three beautiful appliques and $18 on ribbons trying to decide what I wanted to use. Then I plan on selling whatever sashes I don’t end up using.
I guess I’m just in sticker shock over bridal prices but still feel like everything I love seemes even high for the exubberant world of weddings! Anyone else experine this?
