I knew my dress was "the one" because I tried on so many different dresses and it was the only one I didn't want to take off! I say if you feel like that, get it!
I know a couple of bees on here have this dress, and it looked great on every single one of them. To me, though, it doesnt scream "glamour" its more muted, soft, simple. I dont know where you are exactly in Michigan but I got my dress from Antonio's Bridal in birmingham. They had some amazing dresses, and the owner was great. Good luck
Honestly I like the second dress better than the first. I think it's really pretty. If you like it you should order it. If you're unsure you might wait until you feel like that's what you definitely want because you don't want dress regret. It does sound like that's the one you really want though because you said it's perfect and teared up. Good luck with your decision!
@knvprincess143: I think if you loved it that much, you'd probably like it more than the Jasmine anyway. It's a beautiful, classy dress! If you're done with looking and you love this dress, buy it. If you've got any reservations, don't. Do you have enough time to wait on making a final decision?
Personally... I love the first one and think it's just unique enough to fit your theme.
With that dress, you really cannot go wrong. It is so classic with clean lines. I personally love it.
I like the first dress better, the waist on the second one is high and has the tendency to make people look preggo. I'd go to a shop that carries Jasmine and see if they have any similar dresses. If you still prefer the Davids dress then you have your answer.
they are both similar in style,,,but when you get that feeling- who can say no? id say screw everyone and go with your guts and wear what makes you feel best! It is your day after all and you will be the one wearing it
Yes I tried it on and it was adorable and I loved the pockets. However, it just didn't sit right on me and cut me off at the waist making me look bigger....wasn't meant to be.
Here is a photo for you (I am a street size 12/14).
I like #2. It has a much nicer shape than #1. #1 also looks like a really heavy dress.
I think its a great dress and you should go for it! :)
@Treejewel19: Thank you for sharing. I'm a street size 10 but because of my bust and my ribs I'm a dress size 14. I'm 5'4 but with my shoes 5'8. Is that with a slip on? I took it off and thought it looked much better. I had my heart set on wearing a pink slip so if I can find one that lays different then the ones provided at davids I might still do it. But if not I found the dress looked much better with out it.
I voted yes!
Your reaction speaks volumes and I actually like this one better than the Jasmine dress!
You knew when you saw it, and I don't think you should doubt that : )
This is my dress! I love it! If you wanted to see pics on real brides, here are some.

I love that Jasmine Bridal one! But this one is beautiful too, so I say of course you should!
I love the second one. The Jasmine, not so much. IMO, the flowers and the one shoulder thing are going to date the dress pretty quickly. The second one is simpler, which I personally like a lot better. You could always jazz it up by adding sparkle to or instead of the bow.
I say YES! This was my dress and I loved her! I decided to remove the bow and add some bling!

I've got that dress in my closet, I'll have to post up some pictures. It's such a fun dress, that will be perfect for your theme!
This was the dress my FMIL chose for me to try on while at David's Bridal. I LOVED the top but felt that the quality of the fabric as well as where the crinolin starts wasn't ideal for the silhouette... at least on my body. However, I fell in love with the look and ended up buying a very similar style that looked a lot more polished on me. It's a Barbra Allin and the pleats are softer and the material flows a lot smoother. For the price of the DB though, I'd say it's a steal.
@christinenadine: Please I'd love to see photos!
@leembee: I know the fabric is different but that is one reason I love it. We are having a tented back yard circus themed wedding so the light airy feel of the fabric is perfect.
@knvprincess143: Yay! i'm glad I could help! I have extra of the rhinestone banding for sale if you are looking to remove the bow and add some sparkle. PM me if you are interested!
@KLloyd1: I don't know, I kind of like the bow. Was it easy to remove?
I was going to say I've seen that DB dress on other bee's and it always looked so pretty! Glad that they chimed in. Good luck to you : )
This is my dress too and I love it! It looks great on you! :)

I found the perfect dress online, don't we all. Clicked on a find a realtor near you and bingo it was just miles from my office. So just days after getting my e-ring, I called the shop to see if they carry this F361 Jasmine Bridal dress. Nope they don't have this as a sample and neither does any other bridal shop in Michigan that carries Jasmine.
Since my mom and I had already made plans to go dress shopping, I quickly called up David's. Hey trying on dresses is always fun even if I don't want to buy a dress there. I did find a few styles (3) on the David's website that I thought I might like. Upon sitting down with my personal bridal consultant, she said "oh no you have to try on more dresses than that." I shrugged and said bring me whatever you want. After almost droning to death in an overflow of tulle, taffeta, and polyester/silk blends, I still hadn’t tried on the one dress I was truly interested in.
Side note: It is amazing how those dresses are smooched in to those plastic bags and once released, they take over the dressing room like a wild animal trying to escape their fate of being smothered to death.
“Where is the dress with the bow” I asked again. I’ll bring that one next. Many nexts later, it was the final dress she brought. I came out of the dressing room threw my arms down at my sides and sucked back the tears. "Mom this is it." I love the fabric, I love the bow, I love the cut. It may not be as glamorous as the Jasmine, but it's me and it's perfect!
