dress shopping is a hassle. especiaslly when you fall in love with a dress on the website and realize its “online only” and the shop dosent have one on hand. i was devistated. it was simple and elegant and only 275…so i settled at looking at other dresses. after 8 dresses i was done. i was sick of my ankles itching from the crinoline and beads tugging at my hair with every dress that went on (nd off) i left empty handed but not crushed. none of them felt right at all…
so tonight i was looking on CL just for wedding “stuff” to see what i could find. typed in wedding in the search bar and waited. looked through rings (cus i still havent picked my wedding ring) and then jars, and other oddities of wedding. then the dresses. 800 bucks. noe. 400. nope. 75. not bad, kinda too blingy though…50..ok? its an hour drive away? eh. its the dress i wanted. OMG!!! so i eagerly e mailed the lady, dress still had tags and everything. she said we can meet tomorrow and she will take 50 for the dress.
with every e mail i sent i hit the refresh button about 20 times. i wanted to see the next e mail asap. we sat up a time. refresh. address. refresh. then just cus i was curious i asked about the under things, no luck but for 50 on the dress i can buy new ones. stupid budget. its ok though i found THE dress im MY size on CRAIGSLIAT! for about 225 less than i would have brand new off the rack. its still brand new, she says it just has bag wrinkles. its ok im fine with that. they will come out.
poor honey is trying to get my to relax before bed but im so excited about tomorrow. hee hee. ok guess its time to try to go to sleep.
i love craigslist…
