I decided to just go for it the other day while I was out running some errands, and I ordered my shoes! My sweet, purple, high heels! I’ll likely end up making a nice little blingy/peacock shoe clip to add some extra pizzazz, but now I just have to wait for them to get here. The worst part!
Anyone else purchase the Maribelle shoe for their own shoes or as a bridesmaid? I really hope to hear that they’re comfortable, but from the samples I tried on in the store (just a bit too large) they seemed to feel pretty comfy for such a heel height.
*Knowing myself, I may end up with a pair of teal shoes, too, but that’s a risk that Mr.ND runs with such a long engagement 🙂

Ooh those are so cute, I kinda wanna get them for my BMs, you’ll have to let us know how they are!

Beautiful shoes! Congrats on a great find!

@Butterbee: I will! I usually wear a 5.5/6, and the 6s slid off the backs, so I’d order the half size down. I’ll let you know once they arrive and I get to prance around my house a bit 😉 $49 isn’t bad, especially for such a cute pair that I’ll very likely wear again.
@pengoala: Thank you! I was just browsing one day while my MOHs tried on dresses and when all 3 of us saw them we knew they were ‘my shoes.’ Haha.

They look gorgeous! I’m sure they will look beautiful on your day! What exactly is this peacock shoe clip you’ve mentioned? Where does it clip on the shoe? It sounds interesting!

@jenosaurus: Thanks! I think I’ll place the feather clips on the outside heel area of the shoes. Here is a page of etsy with some examples. You can get an actual clip or a thin set of magnets and decorate the one and the plain one goes into the inside of the shoe. I’ll probably do that so it leaves no marking on the shoe.
I think I’ll make my own. It won’t be too hard and I’ve got nearly 100 feathers from when I made a sweet peacock costume for Halloween a few years ago.
Jazziberry Yay! Thanks Jazzi!
