Still waiting for it.
They sent a text saying that it was shipped on August 28th. I asked for a tracking number and they said, “Sure! As soon as I get home!”
I sent them a reminder on the 30th and the 4th.
I get that people can be forgetful, have their own lives, etc. Also it was a holiday weekend.
But give me some kind of acknowledgement!!
FI says that we should file a dispute through paypal. What do you think?

@Chrysoberyl: That sounds a bit fishy….. Maybe you could try messaging them once more letting them know you’re concerned about the the shipment, and if they can’t provide a tracking number then you may have to file a dispute. Sorry!!

I would contact them one more time, give them 24 hours to respond, then file the dispute.

I’d say a PayPal dispute. The PayPal website says that you have 45 days from the payment date to open a dispute.

So I sent them a message saying, “I’m sorry but I think we’re going to have to file a paypal dispute.”
And now we wait.

@Chrysoberyl: I know it’s awkward, but you’re giving them one more chance to come back and say, “So sorry, here’s the tracking number!” You have to watch out for yourself! Good luck and keep us posted!

I would definitely send one more message and she if she responds this weekend.
If you haven’t heard from her by Monday, it’s time to open a dispute!

@Chrysoberyl: I’m not going to jump and say it sounds fishy just yet- I do Ebay and sometimes people just forget to communicate- but everything turns out alright. Since you did use Paypal, I would wait to file the dispute a bit longer- you’re pretty much safe using Paypal.
