So I know I’m already married, but I was going over the photographer numbers and it just wasn’t adding up. My photography contract is broken down by materials, parent albums, shipping, photgraphy, videography… there’s a lot of numbers and I assumed they were added correctly at the bottom, but they weren’t. I paid $110 more than what the numbers add up to. Do I say something? Can I even say something now that I’m all paid up?
I was very stupid for not adding up the numbers! Make sure you all don’t make the same mistake.

yes. Ask him / her politely. He has a reputation and a business to maintain.

Yes. Show them the receipt and then say that it was added wrong and ask for a refund. I don’t see why they wouldn’t make it right.

It’s kind of irritating because they can’t add… I’ll email them now.

My photographer actually made the same mistake on the initial figures but caught it early on. We worked everything out very easily and I forgot about it until now, haha. I would imagine your photographer will return the money and be very apologetic.

Yes, definitely say something!

@PinkMagnolia: Take a deep breath and relax, people make mistakes. You said yourself it is complex and a lot of numbers. I am sure they will work with you on this and charge you the correct amount after you bring it their attention.
