I would continue with your PayPal claim. They’ve already proven themselves to be disreputable and unscrupulous. I highly doubt they will honor their promise to refund you if *they* decide your problems are valid. You sound like you have enough proof via your research for PayPal to work with you.

So sorry you are going through this!

@Taeyers:  I would also take the dress to a professional seamstress to provide the measurements you use in your claim.

Stand your ground with the PayPal dispute.  If you return the dress per their terms you lose all leverage.

Their champagne colored sash looks a bit like an ace bandage.

@Taeyers:  Dispute it with your credit card company ASAP.

Go with PayPal, and harass the heck out of that company! And post negative reviews frequently. Check back on those sites to make sure it stays up, and re-post if you need to.

@Taeyers:  Oh no!  I’m sorry, this is why I don’t use debit anymore.  I’m not sure what advice to give you.  A Paypal dispute would be the next best thing.  Though I don’t personally have any experience going that route.  Hopefully they can help you.  Again, I’m sorry to hear this has happened to you.  Very frustrating!

Your best bet is to stick to the pay pal claim.

@Taeyers:  I think that sounds perfect. After that, I would not have any contact with them directly, even if the message you. Only deal with PayPal.

If PayPal doesn’t help you, you can always talk to your bank as a last resort. Even though it was taken directly out of your bank account, you might still be able to dispute it as fraud–it doesn’t hurt to try every avenue possible.

My fingers are crossed for you that PayPal does the right thing!
