@okqueenbee:  Aww losing weight is tough. Whatever you do, do NOT feel bummed if when you do step on the same you gained some weight. Seriously. I learned a lesson with My Fitness Pal. Sometimes when you change your eating habits, the scale will actually go up. That is why a number of people give up on eating healthy because they didn’t see the “benefit.” In a few weeks, I guarantee you the scale will be in your favor 🙂

ughh i have to make myself not stand on the scale EVERYDAY. it’s the hardest thing ever…i just get really depressed because obviously my weight will go up and down each day

I step on the scale EVERY SINGLE DAY twice a day… Morning and night… Personally it keeps me motivated… I only record weight every sunday but if i see that during the week its inching upwards, i know i need to do more work!

I actually weight myself everyday it helps me grasp how the healthy eating is going. If I ate something or didnt drink enough water yesterday and today I weigh an extra pound then it tells me what I need to do differently. So far I have lost 6 lbs and my jeans that didnt button after christmas closed yesterday…tightly…but they closed.

@okqueenbee:  I never weigh myself. I used to and got pretty obsessive over it. Now I go by how my clothes feel and I also take progress pictures. I feel less stressed out this way and not as fixated on a number. 

Losing weight is tough! I encourage you to take pictures every week and I think you will be surprised at how quickly you can see a difference. I didn’t think I was doing a very good job until I looked at the photographic evidence.

DH is obsessive about weighing himself… I never even owned a scale before we lived together and I started doing the same, but I stopped.  I only weigh myself once every week or so.

@okqueenbee:  TIP: Cut way back on salt/salty foods for a couple days before you weigh yourself….you’ll lose a couple extra pounds in water weight 😀

@okqueenbee:  OH ME TOO! I started a 3 week diet & fitness challenge on Monday and I’m feeling thinner, my clothes fit better and I REALLY wanted to weigh myself this morning! But I didnt, because I know if I’ve lost a good amount I’ll slack off over the weekend, and if I havent lost any I’ll totally quit on myself. So I’m going to wait until Monday, maybe until the end of the challenge, I havent decided yet. Good for you for getting motivated, do whatever you have to do to keep at it!

@okqueenbee:  Pre baby jeans are ATLEAST another 80 lbs away for me 🙁 I may more than I did when I went into the hospital to have my son.

@Charliejeorge:  I finished my week long vegan cleanse today and we had hot dogs and bake goods at my work for an “olympic celebration” I went to town…. I dont even like hot dogs. lmao.
