I purchased my dress about 4 weeks ago and loved it at the boutique. I didn’t shop for long, and only hit three salons, and tried on about 15 dresses. I knew the silouhette I was looking for (trumpet) and knew that I wanted a vintage look. I had first thought I was going for a simple DB dress, but then found the one I purchased that is much more ornate with lace and beading. I can’t stop thinking, should I have looked more???
The dress is at my F-MIL’s house. I should probably just head over her way and put it back on to ease my mind. I know it is lovely, and once altered to fit me (it is a little big in the bust and hip), It will hug like a glove…which is what I am looking for. And there is a reason that I decided to throw down the cash…
I guess I am just fishing for a little “You did the right thing” 🙂 Is this a normal mental war for more than just this Bride??

It’s gorgeous and you look fabulous… though I do think sometimes a little uncertainty after the purchase is normal 🙂 But take a breath – you did REALLY GOOD!!

It’s so beautiful & looks great on you! I think it’s normal to have dress regret after you buy just because there are SO many gorgeous dresses out there. But I think this one is perfect for you, it’ll look especially flattering after altered to hug your curves. YES, you made the right choice!

Thank you girls!! I am breathing. 🙂
And glad to hear I’m not crazy, that this kind of second guessing is normal.

You did a great job! The dress is beautiful and it looks great on you. I think trying on around 15 dresses is a good number, not too many that you start forgetting what things look like and confusing yourself.

You look amazing in it. Don’t you worry! It is perfect. I think everyone has worries once you purchased something because it is final. I was right there with ya a month ago. I wish I had my dress so I could keep trying it on!

Gorgeous! Go visit your dress, you’ll feel better 🙂

Is there anything specific that you aren’t loving about it anymore? Maybe a few alterations tweaks (neckline for example?) will make it something you’re 100% confident with. I do think it’s beautiful and really shows off your figure in a classy, timeless way. So my vote is “you did good.” 🙂
