And while there are plenty of gorgeous gowns out there, this one was gorgeous on me. therefore, it is perfect. kinda like men, really. lots of amazing grooms out there. i found mine, and thats why i stopped looking for a new one. make sense?

YES! I freaked out for a long time after choosing my dress, since it wasn’t what I thought I wanted to choose.  I love my dress now, and hopefully you will too because it is BEAUTIFUL! Please share photos when you get them, and we will tell you what we think! 🙂

I have a Mori Lee dress too! Congrats for finding one.  But, I have to admit, after I bought it I looked at the website and started doubting it, too.  Their pictures aren’t as flattering as the dresses are in rea life, in my opinion.  The model from mine is standing weird and it just makes the dress look strange.  But, when I put it on, I remember what it is I love about it.  AND now that it’s altered and fits me, it’s much easier to love! =)

the bottom one seems to be a great compromise that has the elements you love of the other two. try it on again with different sizes of crenoline underneath and maybe the right amount of shape to the bottom will make you fall in love with it again 🙂

@vicozzie: I hope you end up loving yours, too! I think they make the models stand really still and then fan out the skirt so it looks so smooth, my dress’ pic looks that way too, really flat, but it’s not on me.  Hopefully when you see the pic of you in it, it’ll remind you of what you love!

I think freaking out is normal. I’m still freaking out, even right this minute. It’s a HUGE commitment. That said, I hope you end up loving yours when it comes in..it’s beautiful. You never know…when you put it on, you might feel relieved that you made the right choice.

Yep I definitely freaked out, but I got over it because I knew it was definitely the one for me. The dress is very beautiful, it looks like it has nice detailing on it.

Oh yes, I freaked and still AM freaking.  AND my wedding is in 4 months!  I found another dress this week and am deciding between buying the dress and canceling the first dress (and losing my 50% deposit) or buying the first dress to use for the ceremony and using the second for the reception.

In any case, I think the bottom of the dress you bought can be pleated at the bottom like the first dress. However, you may lose some “puffiness” since it is essentially gathering the material to create the pleats.  Once you get the dress in, show a pic of the initial dress to your alterations person. You’d be amazed at what skilled tailors can do!  Good luck!

I am constantly freaking out. I’m pretty sure I look horrible in my dress.
