I went to visit family out of town and, since I’m hoping to move here over the summer, I decided to do some dress shopping here.
I found a designer I loved and then a shop that carried him and I found it!!!
Obviously the size is a little big (though not too much). My favorite part is the illusion neckline and the buttons that go ALL THE WAY down the back of the dress! Also, it has beautiful scallop edging on the lace.
I wanted something with a vintage, classic look to it and this fit perfectly! I blew the budget a little bit, but only by a couple hundred dollars so I think it will be fine.

I know…I originally was going to get tea length (and tried on the champagne color dress hanging in the second picture) but after I tried on this train, I just loved it! It still wasn’t heavy and I felt like I could move in it really easily to dance.

@Tishfish: Oh wooooooow! This dress looks like it came straight out of a fairytale! You’ll be a stunning bride, you look just like a princess.
Would you mind sharing the designer and name/style number? You rarely see an all lace a-line dress with and illusion neckline and buttons all the way down – and that’s pretty much my dream dress 🙂 It’s so beautiful!

It’s Justin Alexander 8714.
I went to 4 different stores and found another one that I really liked, but it didn’t have the illusion neckline. I had seen Justin Alexander’s dresses online and liked a lot of them.
All the illusion neckline dresses I could find had a trumpet or mermaid sillouette instead of A-line. This was perfect!
