I must have looked at a thousand rings online and tried on a least 50 but couldn’t find The One, and eventually my wonderful man said “get it made exactly how you want”. So I agonised endlessly then ended up going with a split-shank oval with a halo. We had a few revisions of the CADs and I have been worried sick that I would see it and not like it as I wouldn’t get a chance to try it on until it was finished (with no chance of an exchange or refund). The designer rang today and said it’s ready so in I went … closed my eyes while he got it out and then opened my eyes and started crying as it was exactly what I wanted!! I will have to wait a few more months until it’s paid off but just to see it in person was amazing. 1 ct oval centre GIA cert E/VS2 with 0.15ct surrounding stones E-F/VS1-2. Sorry the iPhone pics aren’t very good, will post some better ones when it’s finally on my finger for real! So excited!

Wow, that is stunning! I’m not normally an Oval fan but this may have just changed my mind.
I’m already married but i have serious ring envy right now!

Fantastic ring, very eye-catching! I’m loving ovals right now (but before that rounds and before that asschers, so not sure if I’ll change again), so classic and feminine, not to mention flattering and a bit different from all the round and pricess cuts.

I’ve always been a round brilliant or OEC and OMC kinda gal but ovals are fast becoming my new love. Especially when I keep seeing photos like this! Congrats on a gorgeous ring, lady!

Thanks ladies! I’m such a lucky girl to have an amazing guy and (hopefully soon!) a beautiful ring. I pinch myself sometimes.
I love looking at everyone’s rings, I’m totally addicted. I wish I had 20 fingers so I could wear more rings.
These were the runners-up for my e-ring. I ended up choosing the oval cut as it had a lot more sparkle than these two settings. I still might get something similar as a RHR, especially if Amora ever market them…
