Yay! Sending out the invites was such an exciting part of the wedding planning process for me! However, the amount of responses we've been getting has tappered off so now I'm a lil nervous. But now that the invitations are out, it feels more... real, right?
Yay! I just picked mine and I felt tha same exact way. Congrats, it's really happening!
it felt awesome dropping them off at the post office! like a huge accomplishment!!! the std was a stress because i felt like we got them out way too late, but now sending out the wedding invitations just makes this all feel like "wow APPARENTLY WE ARE HAVING A WEDDING!!"

i sent mine yesterday and it felt so scary for me. there is no backing out!
I sent mine out late last week - before we went to Vegas for the bachelor/bachelorette parties - it really makes it more real (especially since we have a couple RSVP's back already!!)

My mom took 95% of ours to be mailed from my home town. It was pretty anti climatic. I designed and had a horrible printing experience haha so they are a 6 mo. labor of love/strife. I love them but it was kinda unexciting to see them just walk out the door.
Luckily I had to reprint a few envelopes so I got to take a handful to the post office yesterday and I had such a big smile on my face when I walked out. THAT was the feeling I was looking for!! Yea!
Very exciting! People should get them today. Can't wait for those response cards - Anyone having them sent to your parents instead?? oh I'd die haha those babies are coming to me!
already got a few rsvp's back!! woohoo!! yea, i had them sent to me, i couldnt stand the thought of not keeping tabs on my own!!! (way too anal!!)
Mine went out yesterday afternoon! RSVP date is June 10th... hope I sent them out in time :-s
I'll be finishing mine up tonight and then they are out the door tomorrow. My RSVP date is June 15.
I agree, just the thought of mailing the invitations makes everything finally feel "real" instead of just an idea. We've been engaged for 1 1/2 years, so the wedding always seemed so far in the future. Now it's sneaking up on me!

Eee! I'm running a little behind, will have mine out this week (EXACTLY two months before) It is really hitting me now, making me a tad nervous. This is for reals, yo. My FI and I have been together for over 6 years, own our house, moved across the country together...but now we are going to be officially obligated to work it out, no matter what comes. Thrilling and terrifying.

Wow! We're not anywhere near this point yet, but I would think that would make wedding seem even more "real!"
yep! been getting them slowly in the mail!! yesterday was the biggest batch yet....3 rsvps back! hehe.
