Fiance and I were in a shopping center yesterday wasting some time before we had to be at an event, and there happened to be a bookstore right next to an Alfred Angelo. Fiance went to the bookstore, and I was looking for a birdcage, so I decided to pop in.
While I was there, there were three girls trying on these beautiful, sparkly gowns. And I felt JEALOUS. I’m not sure why. Is this the beginning of dress regret? My dress is kind of plain and doesn’t really have much beading or too much that’s original about it.
I know I’ve posted this dress a ZILLION times, BUT
Do you think it is too plain? Do you have any advice on how to spice it up? Reassurances? Ugh. I don’t want to look mediocre.

I’m glad you posted, because you need to know: your dress is FAR from mediocre! You look absolutely fantastic in it, and it has beautiful sparkle around the neckline. Seriously, you look amazing.

Your dress is stunning and NOT plain at all!
If you’re really worried could you have some sparkle added to your veil or perhaps wear a statement bracelet?
You really have no reason to have wobbles over your dress!

I think you and the dress both look great. Don’t give in to those little thoughts of doubt!!! I’m guessing that, in your heart, you know you’ll look amazing and love your dress on your day so just try to believe in that. We all wish we could somehow wear every beautiful dress out there, but that’s not how it works. You’ve got a beautiful dress, so dont be jealous! And I am a very firm believer in “blingier is not always better”.

Such a pretty dress! I don’t think it’s too plain at all. But…if you want to add a little something, you could always do a sparkly belt that matches the top of your dress! My SIL just did that for her dress and it really spiced it up!

Heck no! I love that bling!

You look completely fab:) The crystals at the neckline are juuuuuuust the right amount of sparkle, the dress flatters you in all the right places, and I LOVE the ethereal, flowy feel of the skirt.
*slapslapslap* Stop it right now!!!

I don’t think its plain at all. It has enough detail to be both subtle and noticeable without being overboard. The shape is great, and I love all the criss-crossed ruching. Being mediocre looking shouldn’t even be on the list of your concerns!

That dress looks freaking amazing on you. That neckline is just absolutely gorgeous, and the skirt… goodness. It’s just beautiful on you.

Your dress is very pretty! I’m not really a fan of blingy gowns. I prefer spicing the dress up with jewelry. And don’t worry about the possible regret. I think every bride has them. When I first tried on my dress, I felt so beautiful in it and bought it right away. Then came home, and started looking at dresses again! I was like what the hell is wrong with me…but when I put my dress on at my fitting appointment today…I knew it was for me. So don’t worry about it. If you loved it when you bought it, you won’t regret it the day of your wedding! 🙂
