Bees, I have to admit it…. you were RIGHT!
A long time ago I posted about having a family member (my mom’s cousin) be our videographer. I asked if this was a good idea, and I got a lot of responses saying that I shouldn’t rely on a family member. And.You.Were.Right.
Mom’s cousin backed out on Monday. He said that he has an old camera. He offered to just video the ceremony, but he would like to enjoy himself at the reception. *cue panick attack* Why would he commit to this MONTHS (maybe even a year) ago and back out NOW?! What kind of excuse is “my camera is old”? What, did it age overnight?!? AHHHHH! I mean I get that he would want to enjoy the reception with lots of family he hasn’t seen in a while, but why say yes to begin with?!?
I didn’t realize how important videography is to me until he bailed. All I could think about is having someone random video our vows with an iphone and barely be able to hear us and… ohh my goodness I had a mini-meltdown.
Luckily I worked my butt off the past 48 hours and found a videographer. A real videographer. Yes, we’ll have to pay for it and yes we’re 31 days away and hardly have any money left but its official: we’re having it video’d by a professional.
I’m so RELIEVED! I just am so happy now. So, I appologize for not listening! Lesson learned!!!!
