@linnylou_88:  ROFL hun you are fine.  Post away.  This is pretty funny because I basically did the same thing.  I have a diamond wedding band in wg and a plain band in wg but I also got a cheapy rose gold clad ring to wear at work.  Well I feel in love with it and the way it looks stacked with my ering and wband.  So now I’m trying to get DH to buy me a rose gold 14kt band.

The rose gold scratches pretty easily (I have one and was talking about this on a similar thread earlier).  If you pair it with a stronger metal ring, it will get dinged up pretty quickly.

@linnylou_88:  having a classic plain band is always a good option, I have one myself, well, two: one white gold an another rose gold.  From your post I love the one with a satin finish.

@orchidblooms:  It scratches fairly easily? I have a rose gold engagement ring, and as we were picking it up, the jeweler said that rose gold is the softest gold? it’s 14k and now I’m terrified I will lose my diamond. What do you think?

I wanted a honeymoon ring/wear if I can’t wear my diamond band ring so I found this at cash converters for $70. It’s 18k gold and it’s perfect. I wore it today to the beach for the first time and loved it. I highly recommend it.

@linnylou_88:  My main wedding band is a platinum and diamond band which has been custom made to fit around my engagement ring. I’m then getting a plain palladium band to wear when it isn’t appropriate to wear my wedding set, which will cost about £100.

So, I say go for it! It’s nice to have options 🙂

@franklyn:  Sorry for the late reply, but I’m not worried about losing stones in mine, but it does scratch.  I’ve had it under a month and have one scratch on it that’s on the deep side that’s from reaching into the washing machine for something at the bottom and on the way up I hit the ring against the metal at the top of the washer.  I think it will just have to be smoothed out professionally here and there.

That’s exactly what I have! A blingy set and simple bands to wear more casually. I also went with rose gold, but I bought 2 rings over time…one with diamonds and one plain. I love them stacked together:
