I think it’s because you’re pregnant likely, but you should check with your doctor. Try light pantiliners and body powder otherwise.

@HappySky7:  +1, I’d ask my doctor. I am prone to yeast infections too, so I’d be in there stat to avoid another one. Nothing is too embarassing when it comes to avoiding the dreaded yeast!

@stinkyanon1:  Could it be that you’re senses are overly sensitive since you’re pregnant? I’ve never been pregnant but I’ve heard that things can smell or taste different depending on your hormones. Has your significant other said anything to you about it? I think you should visit the doctor. Maybe write down if it smells different from day to day and exactly what it smells like.

@stinkyanon1:  What have you been craving recently?

I’m pregnant, but every time I eat a BITE of an onion, I SMELL. For the next COUPLE OF DAYS. I have no idea why, DH doesn’t know why, but I stink!

And I smell EVERYWHERE. DH once said “Oh my God. Your BACK smells like onions!”

@stinkyanon1:  honestly, you’re pregnant. Your hormones are ALL out of whack and EVERYTHING you smell is likely to smell awful. You probably don’t stink, you probably just THINK you stink!

Ahthe joys of pregnancy 😉 Maybe get an honest second opinion to help you know whether you really have a problem or if it’s jut pregnancy nose.. I think you may find it’s that!

@stinkyanon1:  If it would make you feel more comfortable, you might try those feminine wipes.  They seem to be like grown-up baby wipes, and wouldn’t be too much of a bother.

@stinkyanon1:  Its a preganancy hormone. I had this with both pregnancies. Never smelled this except for when I was pregnant.  I think it’s normal.  It’s not so much a bad horrible odor “down there”.  It’s just stronger, (not to sound sick) sweeter scent.

@stinkyanon1:  I mean that last time I was pregnant, I developed a certain odor down there for a while that I found to be unpleasant and it didn’t last for more than a couple months. Now that I am pregnant again I have noticed a change in the smell again.

Is it your girly regions that smell? Or just generally your skin, armpits, etc that smell? It’s worth mentioning to your doctor, but I really wouldn’t get worked up about it

@BrandNewBride:  Hahaha i’m the same with garlic! It’s worse though coz i’m not pregnant, it’s all the time. I literally eat one bite of garlic and it seeps out of my pores for at least 24 hours.

You’re pregnant, it’s probably hormonal.

I wouldn’t worry, just maybe take some deoderant with you to work for touchups (or some other such band-aid solution), unless this doesn’t stop after you’ve given birth.

Meantime, there are many worse pregnancy symptoms than BO, let’s hope you got off easy!
