i was scoping out an antiques store last weekend for card box inspiration and i found nothing. oh well. i have 8 months left to figure it out :)

@September29: The birdcage is from Beverly's craft store (California) and I treated it with some paint to make it look a bit more vintage (plus it was scraped to hell). It was half price too thanks to some coupons and fast talking regarding the scratches.
And thank you ladies very much! I am like a proud mama today.

After stalking Etsy for a card box and a few other items I realized that the price they often charge is WAY higher than the cost of doing it myself. So I decided to (wo)man up and tried this DIY thing and I am shocked at what came of it. I actually did something myself...I am beyond thrilled!!!!
So thank you dear Bees for your inspiration and DIY attitude. I couldn't have done it without your constant posts and successful endeavors.

"Card" Box-Much prettier in person. Hydrandeas have pinks and light purple hints to them. Ribbon is light blush pink.
Program Basket-Might add some crystals along the ribbon. Not sure.
