I didn’t think I wanted a large skirt… I didn’t think it would be flattering on me being only 5’3″. So I was trying on lace, fit and flare styles, and they made my mid-section look like a tree trunk. So I started trying on big dresses… and now I can’t get this one out of my head!

Yes! The dress you found, with the empire waist and fuller skirt, makes your waist look tiny. So flattering!

I LOVE the first one!! It is so pretty!!
But, you totally DO NOT look bad at all in the others. The lace sweetheart is very flattering, too. I love the sash.

I LOVE the first on you and think it’s the bet choice out of all the dresses. The silhouette and the higher waist makes you look taller and it really does make you look tiny!! The dress is gorgeous on you, so romantic and sweet. Love it!!

@jamieynn_109: Thanks for sharing your other dresses. Your first dress is definitely YOUR dress. The others are beautiful on you, but the first dress is the most flattering on you – It’s simple yet elegant all at the same time! 🙂

Thanks everyone! I agree – the first one just feels like me. I have very simple taste, and many dresses felt like “too much” for me. It looks a little funny because it comes with a bow, which we have covered with a flower… I think I will probably remove the bow and attach a flower (probably a little bit bigger than the flower in the pic).
Best part – it has pockets! How fun!
