I have been pondering over one specific dress for months, could not find it at any local boutiques and finally found one 80 miles from home. I tried on the dress and loved it! All I have to do is loose 30 punds and I would look just the way I envisioned myself on my wedding day. Then one of my friends takes me to the mall (of all places) and I find another dress. I am not so keen on this dress, although my girlfriend thought it looked Beautiful on me. I did agree w/ that. The dress is figure flattering which is always a plus. Especially with someone with much hips and butt! The dress also had a significant price advantage. On clearence for $299
My fave dress is $675 (still not bad)
Ok....what do you think!
I think you look beautiful in the one you posted - which is the other one?
I also like the one-strap because it is a bit more unique and really accentuates your waist! You look gorgeous :)
I like the one-strap one best. I think it's a unique design and the color seems richer which is flattering to your skintone.
Thank you guys so much for the compliments, I really love the one strap! The look is not something that you see everyday.
I, too, love the asymmetrical shoulder strap dress. It is stunning on you. As a full-figure gal myself, I think it's so important to feel beautiful and I think you will feel that way in either dress. For my money, that one-shoulder beauty is a real winner!
Hmm, I like the one strap (mine is one strap too!) but although the first is not as unique I think it is more flattering to your figure. I hate to be the odd girl out but that is my honest opinion.
I definitely love the one-shoulder dress. It looks absolutely stunning!
I think it depends on your venue and the type of wedding you are having. If your event will be more formal and you are confident you will lose the weight, then I'd say go with the strapless dress, the sparkle at the top is very pretty. The one strap dress is a little more casual and it looks great on you as is.
I like the both. I think think the one strap looks great but I'm not crazy about that belt. either way, you can't go wrong!
I like everything about the one strap! It looks so good on you. I think it is the winner, in my opinion :)
I definitely love the second one. The one-strap and belt are pretty and unique. And I think it also flatters your figure well. The price ain't so bad either!
The one strap is my favorite on you! I love the way that fabric looks on you... it looks rich. You look really, really beautiful in it too!
I love, love, love the detail on the second dress. What a cool accent.
both dresses looking great.. one strap is more unique but the first one suits u best i think
I like the uniqueness of the one strap, but i think the first one looks stunning on you...
You guys have not made it any easier on me. My them is Old Hollywood Glamour and from first site the one strap sreamed at me. I also like that it's something new and different. It also has pockets and I love pockets. This is so HAAARRDDD!
Thank you so much
#2 is gorgeous on you! I love the first one but I'm in love with #2
I'm going to go against the grain and say that I like the first, strapless option best. I think it is very figure flattering and timeless.
I'm also one of the few who likes the strapless dress more, and now that I read your wedding has an Old Hollywood Glamour theme, I think Dress #1 suits it more.
BUT, if the one-strap dress is your dream dress and the price is in your budget, buy Dress #2. You'll be second-guessing yourself until you become a two-dress bride if you don't follow your heart!
Oh wow, the one strap dress with the bow is really pretty & flattering!
I love the 1-strap dress, and I think it also looks great with the bird cage veil you're trying it on with!
The one strap for sure. It looks incredible on you and is very unique. All your guests will be wowed for sure.
I love the one shoulder dress! I'm a little biased on that style though, mine is one strap gown as well. How can you NOT love a unique wedding gown? BUT I see your point.. you look beautiful in both (and I personally don't think you need to worry about losing weight! You look GREAT!)
@SuperShopper: thx for the boost of confidence, a girl needs that every once in a while!
@jaylovessteez: The dress is from the Jasmine collection 2010. I think the style # is F321.
Thanks!
I think the first one is very flattering an very old hollywood glamour. Who is that designer?
