My dog and I are the only ones being bitten in the house. We did a thorough cleaning; and, used blow dryers to heat the bed frame/mattress. It seemed to curb the biting for now. I need to keep it under control before the exterminator comes in. Does anyone have any tips?

Wash all of your bedding, etc and make sure to give the dog a flea bath. For some reason the bed bugs won’t attach to them. Also, if you have carpet, steam clean it if you can.

Bag up EVERYTHING that cannot be washed like purses etc. My friend’s super high end apartment building got infested with bed bugs too, and it was terrible. I stayed overnight there once before they realized what was happening and I had over 75 bites on my body after 3 hours of being there. Welts were the size of a baseball.
You’re in for a real ride, hon. *hugs*

No tips other than tell you this isn’t going to be a fun process. I got bedbugs in a corporate apartment once and they had to replace all of my furniture after the exterminator treatments to make sure the bugs were gone for good.
Good luck! Bedbugs suck!
