I've seen this happen several times. It's usually when the person is editing the first post just after it was posted, I think :)
If you go waaaaaay back to some of the very last pages of the boards, like, page 817 or whatever, you can see some like that. It's really, really strange!
I've seen that before!!! I've seen it twice now! I kept having this idea that someone was dissin' on the thread, hahaha, like "this is NOT a good thread. -1 comment"

@gp- I thought that too! Like, "When did we get a thumbs up/thumbs down feature?!"
See how the page says the thread was posted "0 seconds ago"? That's why you see the comments equal to minus one... the post hasn't been fully entered into the database yet.
The bug only happens if you view the page at the exact second that a thread is being created. We could fix it if you wanted... just didn't seem like the highest priority at the time we came across it!
Mr. Bee- It doesn't need fixing if it doesn't mean anything's broken! Keep it. :) I was just in the right place at the right time. lol
it's like an easter egg, that only the most dedicated of board bees have a chance to see ;)
Haha, I don't know why, but it's funny to me. Definitely don't "fix" it, Mr. Bee!

I don't know where I'm supposed to put this, but I thought it was actually fairly amusing. One of the comment #s read -1. Weird! I didn't know if this was bad or not, but I screenshotted it. :)
