I can’t stop obsessing about my dress. When I look at certain pictures of me in the dress, I just can’t help but think that it is not a good match for my body. I am a total pear (31.5-25-37), and I just don’t think I made a good choice. I keep telling myself that I can’t know for sure because the sample was too big, but I’m just reminded of all the other dresses that were so much more flattering. And that’s not the only thing. I really wanted bling! My dress has no bling, and I don’t know how to make it more blingy, more me, and more flattering. Ugh. Sorry my thoughts are all over the place. This has been bothering me for a while now and I just don’t know what to do.
These are the pictures that are bothering me:
I almost bought Adorae, but didn’t like it for an outdoor ceremony. Now I kind of wish I did:

I think you look great in your dress and if its the bling you want why not trade out the sash or do some great jewerly?

Girl, your dress looks FANTASTIC on you! And while Adorae looks fabulous too, I just love how romantic and outdoor appropriate yours is. Super flattering, don’t you worry!

I think you look amazing in your dress! I think it’ll be lovely for an outdoor ceremony. Maybe you could make it blingier by changing the belt (although I really love the flower one that you have on it!)?

@MrsJules10: Thank you very much 🙂
@pengoala: Thanks a lot! I do agree that it is more outdoor appropriate than adorae.
@MsPanda:, @Shosha1: Thanks for your kind words. I have been searching and searching for a nice sash. I just don’t know if it would look right. I think I need to make a trip in to the boutique where I bought the dress and start experimenting lol.

I love yours! Add a bling belt or sash, and you can always bling with accessories!

You look gorgeous. Do not go back and look at photos from your fittings!!! Trust me!!! I loved my dress, and then I looked at the photos and I started getting dress regret. But when I went back for my first fitting I fell in love with it again. Then I looked at the photos from that. Cold feet all over again. Second fitting, fell in love again and learned my lesson about the photos 😉 Seriously, you look stunning. I’m a girl with hips and I never thought I could rock the mermaid fit, and I love the way my dress looked on me and how it looked in our pro photos!

Look on etsy! There are TONS of beautiful sashes that would add bling.
The first dress, I think, looks better on you than the 2nd. The 2nd dress is much more churchy/winter feeling with the heavy shiny satin…. the first dress is perfect for an August outdoor wedding. You do NOT look “heavily pear shaped” at all in it.

I like the first one way more than the 2nd one.

I think you should stay with the first one, It looks amazing!

Reality check! You look fabulous in your dress!

I love it and it is perfect for an August wedding. It looks great on you! Don’t second guess yourself!

I honestly love the first dress on you. The non-shiny fabric is much more flattering and I think the light flowy fabric on the ruffles will look awesome at an outdoor ceremony. Once this dress is altered, it will look perfect. And PP’s are right–you can totally bling it up with accessories! I got a really sparkly dress and I’m a little bummed that I can’t wear a lot of the accessories that I’m finding because they would be too over the top with the dress. You get to add whatever you want!

Honestly, I like your first one WAAAAAAAAAAAY better. Try different sashes if you want to add some bling. I love your dress!
