Weddingbee boards

So this post isn't as Earth-shattering as "I made a mistake in agreeing to marry my FI! Woe-is-me!" but I am kind of kicking myself. I'm getting married on July 30th. I have a hair trial on Wednesday. I decided I should probably give my hair a trim to get rid of the split ends before my appointment. I wanted to see my hairstyle as true to form as I could.

My hair is very wavy / curly, and even still, it was about the length reaching the small of my back. I am on the fence on how I want my hair styled for my big day, but a big part of me wanted a half up, half down 'do with my hair cascading in soft waves. Sigh.

As I was sitting with the stylist, she said my hair was rather dry, so I told her to take off as much as it would take to get to a healthy point. She cut 3 inches off. AND gave me layers in the front. It's very short, relatively speaking, and now I have no earthly idea what to do with my hair come Wednesday / or the wedding for that matter!

Any brides out there have pictures of their medium-length hairstyle?

**In other news, I spoke with the bridal salon. My dress will not be in until the first week of JULY because the manufacturer lost the order.***

At least there are two other good points to balance out these small stressors. 1) Our wedding bands are in!   2) We received our first wedding gift today; a lovely set of luggage, just in time for the honeymoon! At least there are positives! :)

Anyway, any other hair disasters out there?

I'm so sorry that happened to you! Just explain to your stylist what happened, tell her your original vision and see what recommendations she has for you. I'm sure you can still come up with something beautiful for your wedding day.
