Oh no! I had this a few weeks ago. They put me on amoxicilin and i had to BEG them to medicate me. They don't like it unless you really feel sick, not just "kind of" sick. I played the "but i'm in a wedding card" and it worked =].
Vitamin C (i drank lots of sunny D!), a good diet, sleep, and water! feel better soon
Take a prescription right away. I would suggest z pack (sp?) but I know sinus infections require long term medicine.

I swear by Oscillococcinum, even though I can't pronounce it. It's a natural remedy that if taken at the first sign of symptoms, it will elimintate or significantly descrease whatever you're getting. I too get sinus infections a few times a year and since I've taken this, they only last a few days instead of being a full blown nightmare.

I'm SO prone to getting sick while traveling, and since we have to fly to our wedding site, I'm popping Airborne starting this weekend, and all through the wedding weekend to ensure I don't get sick. A sinus infection you can't prevent though :( Hugs!
Hopefully you can get to your DR asap. If you can't, I'd go to the urgent care clinic or whatever your 'emergency' health care is. I'm sure they will understand and will give you the best care and direction.
Try to get lots of sleep and keep drinking fluids til you think you will float away!!!
I started getting a cold/allergies a few days before the wedding. I'm sure it was mostly stress. By the wedding I felt tons better, but I took the time to de-stress. Take care of yourself and you're probably smart to call the DR. Hope you feel better!

Ugh! I'm pretty sure I'm feeling the beginnings of a sinus infection. I get them 3 or 4 times a year, so at this point I am pretty familar with the symptoms.
Since I am a only 9 days from the wedding I think I'm going to hightail it to the doctor to see if I can get it under control before it gets to bad.
My best friend got married last year and I got sick 2 days before, I think I'm sensing a pattern here....
