So sadly, I will be taking a break from WB. It’s making me think of engagement way too much and I know it’s coming in at least the next 2 months and I just want to enjoy this time. We’ve made so much progress that I’m basically engaged without a ring. We’ve discussed our guest list (150+, uh, what!?!) and we’re using a friend’s venue next month as a trial run since I fell in love with it not knowing it was her venue already. I’m totally, 100% at peace with waiting and am so happy with where I am right now! I doubt I can offer too much more helpful advice/sympathy to those who are less than enthused with their situation; I feel like I’m tapped out. Also, things in my life are getting incredibly busy in the next couple weeks with looking for a place to live together, job hunting, packing, moving, traveling to various events, and focusing on my business.
I will most likely continue to check in every once in a while, especially to see who gets engaged! I may comment some but most likely I’ll be the silent observer. 🙂
Good luck to all my fellow waiters!!! And congrats to the recent graduates!!! I will definitely respond to PM’s if you get the urge. <3

Congrats on the wonderful time right now, enjoy it! I will likely be joining you if there is no proposal this weekend. I definitely think about engagement too much and need to find something else to focus my energy on.

I was expecting a proposal last weekend, even though it had been bumped due to my SO’s sister getting engaged the week before… But the timing and the occasion were perfect. On our trip, my SO said we should go look at rings together this upcoming weekend, because he has now picked three he likes (originally there was just one) and he can’t decide. Though it spoils the surprise a little, I know what rings he was picking from and there is a ring at the jeweler that I think has been overlooked 🙂 And maybe knowing what I’m getting isn’t so bad if I really really really like what we pick. I have been trying to spend less time on here because it’s all I ever think about.

Oh, sorry to hear you’ll be gone! I was following your story. But I totally understand, it can be addicting and mess with you a little to be on too much.

I used to stalk weddingbee before I was engaged. I had to stop too because it was too much. I couldn’t wait to be engaged after almost 4 years of dating…I’m not very patient 🙂 Best of luck!
