Weddingbee boards

Oh my goodness, I'm so excited I could just pop. For anyone who didn't read my post from last week (http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/nwr-job-related-what-would-you-do) I told my boss that while I loved working PT with this company, I was now in the market for a FT job. I made sure to emphasize that I wasn't quitting, but was actively looking for a FT positon in ANY field and if one came my way I was deff going to snatch it up. She wished me luck in my job hunt and said that if she heard of anything I would be the first to know.

Lo and behold, the VP of marketing called me into his office today and told me he's looking for an executive assistant/event planner. He talked about how everyone in the office loves me and he can't think of anyone else he'd rather hire. He's meeting with the higher ups next week to discuss the budget - I work for a not-for-profit, so there is a limited amount of $$ available for salaried positions. As soon as he gets approval from them he will send me a formal offer -- within 2 weeks! I'm feeling really good about this and SO much of the stress in my life was centered around finding a job, how I was going to pay for my rent, my student loans, my DINNER and I can already feel it all leaving my body. I am just holding my breath and hoping that this offer comes in SOON.

Ahhhhh just had to get that out of my system.. I'm so excited!
