Don’t go get it. Don’t even think about it. Leave the pickup card where he’ll find it and that’s all. If he thinks he’s slipping one by you he’ll be disappointed if you went and picked it up. Jewelry shipping isn’t like sex toy shipping, it’s not discreet. The package could say XYZ Jewelers as the sender right on it, and even though you “know” what it is, it’s still different than *knowing* what it is because you’ve seen the parcel.

I totally agree with kittycatpancake. I figure the less they know about what we know the better. Otherwise we disappoint them and they might want to make new plans too ..ie more waiting. Plus it is super cute to watch them try to be sneaky, at least my SO is. Lol.

PrettyintheCity:  don’t ruin the surprise. not only will you ruin it for yourself but you will ruin the fact that he is trying to surprise you.

I see it all the time here on the bee, women get too excited and they ruin it. don’t be one of htem

Welcome to the bee. Do not ruin the surprise, just forget it was delivered and let him take care of it! It could potentially mess up the proposal plan then you’ll have to wait longer. Plus it’s only 10 days away!! How exciting!!

What does your future ring look like? Do you have the stock photos?

PrettyintheCity:  Just try to resist the urge to look!

I didn’t think my fiance was going to propose even though he had asked for my ring size because we ahd only been together for eight months at the time.  We had a group of friends over the night before he proposed and one of my friends told me about some of fiance’s “suspicious” behavior. They were telling me he was proably totally going to propose (I didn’t believe them) and even said jokingly that the ring was most likely in his golf bag or his sock drawer. Turns out he proposed the next day and he had brought the ring into the apartment in his golf bag and then kept it in his sock drawer. I was so happy that I did not snoop!
