Weddingbee boards

Well, I had this Maui thing all figured out & then I started looking at Secrets Maroma Beach again. This was the original place we were going to HM. I didn't realize they offered a free wedding package with a 7 night stay in their preferred level rooms. THe wedding package offers a lot of stuff we were going to give up in Maui becuase of costs. I made a comparison spreadsheet and so far, we will be saving over $2k by going the Secrets Maroma Beach way and get a lot more "bang for the buck". With the legalities of getting married in MX, I think we will have the legal cremony here (in secret) & do a symbolic wedding in MX.

Umm. Ok. Let me get this straight: beautiful beach or beautiful beach with more cool stuff? Either way it's win win!! Congrats :)

I know, choosing the destination and the hotel was the longest part for us too!! Once you're done with that, if you choose an all inclusive where the wedding package is included, everything will be sooo easy! They're professionals who do many weddings every DAY, no kidding!

@egb - I was worried that going AI would be too much like the DW I had for my 1st wedding. I don't feel like that anymore as it's just going to be the two of us and we are going all out on a photographer, etc. AI is so much less stressful for the whole trip. No shopping at Costco to save $ on snacks, drinks, etc and we'll be able to go on more excursions! Yay!
