Ugh my fiance is in the process of fixing up his house to get it ready to sell. I live there currently, but we want to start over and get a palce of his own....i just dont see it being easy :(
WOW! Congrats! And talk about lucky. Seriously, you are so blessed! My guy has been in the process of selling his house since the beginning of April and the sale still won't go through until the end of October at least...I'm suffering some serious real estate jealousy right now, haha!
Update! So far so good. The home inspection was on Monday and I dropped off the key to the appraiser on Wednesday. We have a signed contract to close with them on October 30th pending the appraisal. But they are confident their loan will get approved!
We just can't believe that we didn't have to list the house or deal with realtors! It is going to save us 6% in commission to realtors!
The couple buying the house are getting married a month before us and they are in their mid-20s. This will be their first home and are super excited! So it is a good deal for everyone!

Great! I'll take some of your good luck. We'll be selling my townhouse, which we currently live in, and the market here has been bad for them for quite some time. Keep us posted!

UPdate! We closed on the house today. Sold all of his furniture and he's moved in to my house! One more step down towards becoming a family :)

So we were getting the house ready for the realtor to list it next week and a family friend heard through the grapevine that we are selling it and wants to make an offer tomorrow!
I'm so excited that we aren't going to have the hassle of listing it and showing it! Plus save a little money by not paying commission to a realtor!
The crazy part is that they want to move in Nov. 1st and we thought it would be end of December before we sold. So now we are having a garage sale this weekend and trying to move some of his things to my place!
