Being on the same page is so important. At first, my bf and I were in the same book, but I was a couple chapters ahead of him. Now, with the doctor saying I need to get going on the baby thing, I think I may be ahead of him again. Someday!!!

I love getting reaffirmations on that subject. My boy usually has lots of questions when we get into ring and wedding talk. I think he gets concerned when I have the answers though. :)

My boyfriend and I went out last night and I was talking to his friend Dave (we had been drinking and Dave is a talker when he drinks) and he kept going on about how much Jason loves me and how different he is (happier) with me than he was with his ex, and how back when Jason and I first met he told him that I was the girl of his dreams and how much he loved me etc etc (before we were even dating!)
YAY!
Well, when we got home I was on a major high note hearing all these wonderful things, and I had sent him an email about e-rings (we try to not ACTUALLY talk about it so there is no pressure) but I decided to bring up the email, just asking if he read it... And he said yes, but he was a little confused about a couple things, I asked if he wanted to talk about it then (it was very very late/early! and we were trying to go to bed) and he said he really did, but he needed to get sleep (he had to work in the morning) and that we would talk about it today. Then I appologized for bringing it up and that I didn't want it to freak him out, and he said "it really doesn't freak me out at all" then gave me a big kiss and hug.
YAY!!
I don't feel like it makes us too much closer to an actual proposal, but it's nice to re-afirm that we're going in that direction and we're on the same page! :)
