haha, I’m sorry – I don’t have any stories for you, but I think this is funny!! And if this is the only mistake made during the wedding planning, I think you are doing great!

I sent a wedding invite to a friend of my grandma who apparently died between the time she gave me her list of names and when I sent the invites.  :/ Wrong name can’t be that bad!

I sent someone a save the date twice. I was writing them out at work and then got distracted. I somehow wrote the same person twice and didn’t realize it. I’ll be sure to be more careful with my invites.

I literally spelled the name of our town wrong. It’s supposed to be AirDRIE and I spelled it AirDIRE.I printed stickers for the return address so every invite has this sticker. I didn’t notice until FBIL sent me a picture of the envelope with an LOL… IDIOT!

@s2bmrscook:  Hahaha! I’m sure it will be fine and they will understand the mistake. At least it’s just the STD!

I haven’t sent any paper out yet, but we just received an invite from boyf’s STEPBROTHER. We live together, but aren’t married. It was addressed to “Boyf and Jessdarling Boyfriendslastname” RUDE! I am NOT Jessdarling Boyfriendslastname! Haha! Also, on the back for their RSVP portion it says “Please let is know if you will attend the ceremony, reception, or both” I would be SO mortified to have a typo on my invites!

I sent a STD to Mr. and Mrs. (his last name) thinking they were married, but they weren’t yet.

Not me, but my best friend sent her wedding invite to my parents (Mr. & Mrs. soso) except…they are seperated. My mom was like wtf, she knows the deal!! But it was fine, no biggie.

I think I have a fairly large blunder!  I left off both ME AND FI off the list I made for the venue for the placecards which included meals.  Which also means I didn’t leave either of us a seat at our reception!  No seat, no food, no name?  Really.  I was so focused on who was being invited, I didn’t remember us.  DOH  It’s an easy fix and it’s still early enough to make adjustments, so I saved myself big time.
