And I’m so happy!
I just wanted to thank Mrs. Lemon for her input on using flickr for guest photos. I’m very glad I did…I have 600 photos that I wouldn’t have had before! It seems to be working out really well…I have had to remind a few people about it that I knew had cameras, but other than that, its be perfect. And I’ve gotten some great pics! Makes sense…if people have a digi camera, they probably know how to do some sort of uploading. I went and assigned tags and broke it down by ceremony, reception, etc., and now it gives everyone the ability to view the pictures. I did make a new flickr account, as I didn’t want to give out my personal login and password for my regular flickr account.
I used Mrs. Lemon’s instructions for flickr, and put them in the back page of my program.

we did the same thing — we have about 400 photos. i wish a few more people had jumped on the band wagon…we might send out a reminder email with our pro slide show when that’s ready.
great tool — now what i can’t figure out is how to order prints from it for less than like $.39 cents i think it was! that seems out of control — have you tried yet?

be sure to check the photo dimensions. sometimes it sets them as "4xD" instead of "4×6," with D being the dimension of the photo you uploaded. it’s more expensive to have those custom sizes than to fit it to a standard size.

I don’t think I’m going to order from there, probably going to do the mass download like Mrs. lemon did. http://www.weddingbee.com/2007/09/06/once-all-the-photos-are-there/
Onion, I was thinking of doing a email too..I’ve been trying to hunt down our BM for his camera! UGH! I had a mental note of people I *knew* I wanted to steal pictures from.

I think if you can download the photos from Flickr in the high-resolution version, then you can print them from Snapfish for way cheaper. If you are ordering tons of prints, you can pre-pay for prints at Snapfish and get only 10 cents per print!

Costco has the best prices if you’re not doing the pre-pay thing or only want a few. ‘Course, you have to be near and a member of Costco for this to really help you…but it’s 17 cents, flat, for 4x6s.
