Does anyone else feel like a) they want 100 weddings or b) it should be acceptable for wedding attire to be worn on the high street?
I am looking around for inspiration and places like BHLDN (http://www.bhldn.com/) make decisions SO hard – do I want flowers in my hair, or a beaded comb, something with feathers, or a halo, or a veil, etc. Do I want a single rose bouquet, a clutch, a fan, etc. Do I want to go vintage, boho, floaty, 1920s, etc. Do I want my hair up, down, swept to the side? Do I want to wear real vintage diamond jewellery, or costume jewellery, or pearls? Beaded cape, or cardigan? Do I want to wear baby blue, white, ivory, blush?! SO many choices!
*sigh* This all makes me want to dress up as a bride for every single day of the year – I’m plus size, so my dress options aren’t infinite – but I can still dream!
I just had to share this with you ladies, because you’ll know what I’m going through. I’m going back to look at things on BHLDN and Anthropologie – because I can!
Some of the things I am in LOVE with at the moment…
p.s. I might just buy some of these things anyway… 😀 What happens behind closed doors is up to me, right?!

Haha I relate! But then I remind myself that a wedding reception is really just a big party, and I can totally have 100 fancy parties if I save the money and want to do it 😛 including jewelry and flowers and dresses!
I guess most people are not as into that as I am, otherwise it would be more common? But I think it would be rad to know people who wanted to take turns hosting fancy parties like in olden times.

I totally hear you! If I could get married once a year and wear all these beautiful things, I totally would! But the stress that goes along with the planning? Haha no thanks. 🙂

@4cube: That sounds lovely – this is what I’d do if I was one of the “housewives of blahdy-blah”. How wonderful it would be!
@pengoala: A yearly wedding sounds fab – can you renew after only a year? #ideabrewing
@maplemag:Hehe – lots and lots of lovely dresses. There aren’t many places I’d choose – I suppose my venue would get bored of me turning up all the time, so I’d have to think of some new places.
@Jen51287: Being a wedding planner is on my list of dream jobs – not going to happen though! It’s a saturated market. How awesome would it be, though? Fun, fun, fun.
