I used to have hot pink hair and an eyebrow ring... YIKES. AND my SO had loooong hair down his back and a goatee. He's now clean shaven with a crew cut! Anyone who sees us now would NEVER believe how we looked 4 years ago. I still feel that way on the inside, but it's time to look like an adult now. **sigh**
BTW, crebre you are totally rockin' in that pic. Love it!
i cute about 15 inches off a few years ago and now am letting it grow back for the fi but after today i am itching for a cut.

My hair has been the same for literally 7 years now. All through high school and college it has remained long, wavy, and natural. I feel like everyone is supposed to dramatically changes their appearance at several points throughout these times, and I've just never had the urge to. I had red hair when I was eight and got perms from 11-14. I started wearing makeup early and figured out what I liked early on. My personality and beliefs and so on have changed a lot over these past eight years, but my preferred aesthetic hasn't--maybe that's more essential somehow. *shrug* I've been getting antsy lately, feeling somehow 'required' to do something to my hair. I don't think it's because I want it, just because it seems like everybody else has done it and I'm doing something wrong by not. I don't know!
This is me four years ago. Back length synthetic dreads, lip piercings (out in this photo), I was quite wild looking.
Me Now.. I'm a bore! I miss being fun looking, but alas, I want to be a lawyer when I grow up, and it requires something a little more "toned down" shall we say?

@ilikepink - I miss my pink hair a lot, so does the FI but I think I am going to wait until I am settled into my new job a little before I try to spring that on them lol
I feel like I should dye mine pink next year before I start law school. One last tryst with Mrs. Manic Panic.

I always change my hair...I *love* it red right now but I used to have it super blonde in college and I often miss that because I feel it reflected my bubbly personality well. I also have had it dark brown, light brown, dark red, strawberry blonde, dark blonde, ...you name it :)
YES! I am dying to cut all my hair off. I usually keep my hair a little past shoulder length, but a few summers ago I cut it off to a pretty short bob that I loved. I didn't keep the bob for very long, but I always think about cutting my hair that short again. My hair doesn't grow very fast and is currently only a couple inches past my shoulders (and my shortest layers are just past my chin), but I am growing it as much as I can for my wedding. I think I'll cut it off after that though. On the other end of the spectrum, I have always loved long hair but have never had long hair myself. My hair grows so slowly I can never get through the awkward stage of growing it out, so I never keep it very long. I think the longer my hair is, the younger I look, anyway, which isn't good because I have enough problems with people thinking I am younger than I am!

You look cute with short hair. I usually don't want to cut my hair because I have never had long hair, but I go through color phases. I do look pretty cute with my short hair (I met my FH when I had short hair). It makes me feel kinda sassy when it is short.
Now I am in my natural hair phase.
I'm currently growing my hair out for the wedding. It's long now, but it's driving me CRAZY. I like cutting it short in the summer, but I won't be able to this year. Ugh! It's about two inches longer now than it is in the picture. TOO LONG. It's hot on my neck.
