I love all animals. I was raised with them, and currently my husband and I have two cats and three tarantulas (I'm a hobbyist and amateur arachnoculturist). I loooove them all so much, and my husband does too.
Sometimes, though, I feel like I'm missing something, and that something is a dog! I love having dogs!
Sadly enough, our apartment won't let us have one, so I'll have to wait for now. I wanna see your pics of your dogs, so I can see some happy faces and look forward to having my own!

Here is my boy. He's a 2 year old pit mix. I don't have many pictures of him on this computer since it's new.
This is his "I would like it very much if I could sit on the couch with you" face. And it always works for him.

Mine are both dachshund mixes! We think... for sure one of them is. I don't have puppies pics on this computer though.
This is my 8-month old pug puppy named Izzy. She's my first dog and the four-legged love of my life.

This is baby Sophie the day we got her. She had just turned 4 months!
This is Soohie now at 1 year old! She is such a cuddle bug! She's a miniature schnauzer that weighs only 11lbs, so we call her a petite schnazuer!

We never actually got a puppy- we rescued but I can honestly say Winston is the best dog ever. We got lucky- he is incredibly well behaved no training required

I love the photo of the huge lap dog :) Here's mine. He's a Havanese we found thru a breed rescue (HALO) on petfinder (really great group). He was rescued from a puppy mill. We love him to pieces!
And at our wedding (where he was the true star :)
This is Ein or "Einstein". She's a Skye Terrier. They are pretty rare apperantly, we sort of stumbled upon her. She's sweet, snuggly, energetic, playful and loves to bark to get your attention. She's also very smart and loves loves loves people. Skye's are amazing dogs! If you look them up it might say they are anti-social and only like certain people, but no one would ever describe Ein that way!!!
Our apartment allows dogs, thank goodness, and she is a great apartment dog :).

@wifegoodman: Are your babies Shibas??? FI and I have been so obsessed and are planning on getting one when we move! Can I ask if you would recommend them as a breed also with a family with 2 cats??

We actually went to the local shelter today and found two dogs we are in love with, but one already has an adoption pending, and the other was a 55 pound pitbull, who was a complete sweetheart, but SO strong - I couldn't control him when I walked him :(
So I am currently scouring petfinder for a doggie!
Even though we don't have one of our own yet, I just have to share this pic of my husband holding our friend's adorable new puppy in a sweatshirt! (definitely not helping my puppy fever!):

I have a 10 year old Jack Russell Terrier, a 5 year old Great Pyrenees mix and a 2 (guesstimate) year old Pit Bull. My dogs are my babies. <3
