The following is mild temper tantrum.
I want uplighting!
I want a plated dinner!
I want a caterer that sets up the venue!
I want a wedding planner!
I want bouquets and boutonieres of real flowers!
I want the DJ I couldn’t afford and had to turn away!
I want my wedding to look perfect like the ones on TV!
I want my Future Father-In-Law to stop being a tool!
Okay, I feel a little better now. Just feeling overwhelmed that I can afford none of the above and my wedding is still costing close to 10 thousand dollars. It’s insane. Why does everything have to cost so much? I’m DIYing too!
Bad planning day. 🙁
Feel free to throw your own temper tantrum, too!

@hyperJulie: At this point, I just want to make enough money to move the fsck out of mommy and daddy’s house. I’ve waited nearly 8 years to spend a night with Fiance and I’m running out of patience.

DIY uplighting can be quite awesome, but I completely understand your impossible desire for the perfect advertisement layout wedding, all the work done by someone else, and no @#$&! relatives, only supportive ones who cry as you walk down the aisle…*sigh*

Honestly we have a pretty big budget and I think our wedding will be a lot less “pretty” than anything in the magazines and all the weddings I’ve seen here on the bee. But our style isn’t really “pretty” LOL.
Err…my tantrum is that I reeeaaaallly don’t want to attach the bows to the invitations. Like I reeeeaaaallly don’t want to do it. I’ve been avoiding it for months.

Maybe if I knock my heels together three times repeating, “David Tutera” all of my hopes and dreams will come true. I may also test this theory repeating “money fairy.”
But I wonder what terrifying thing happens if you repeat “David Tutera” into a mirror three times in a dark room… If you see a news report about a young woman found mysteriously dead in her bathroom wrapped in an aubergine pintuck table overlay you’ll know what happened.

@hyperJulie: LOL. Then they’ll probably pick you for the show…because a dead bride in the bathroom obviously needs some styling guidance 🙂

@icetea: It will be a very somber special called “What she would have wanted.” It’ll be just like my dream wedding except it will actually be my funeral.

@hyperJulie: LOL…I actually Laughed Out Loud…good one!!!

Ugh know the feeling so sick of looking through magazines and blogs and seeing the perfect weddings and stunning model brides….,. Too much pressure

I dont want to get married in some place that looks like a basement! Mom, who is unable to contribute, told me to get married in some meeting hall to save money. What comes to mind is a paneled basement and I feel like I deserve a little more than that! I will do anything I have to to have wedding area we dream of getting married in.
I want more money for a down payment on a house! I’ve spent 4 years having a stayover relationship and throwing money away for rent. I want a place with Fiance and to see him home with most nights!

@hyperJulie: Aw, honey… your wedding will be perfect, regardless of not having those things. It’ll be the day you marry your Fiance, and everything will be rainbows, and puppies, and unicorns! Trust me, the whole thing is such a whirlwind that you won’t even think about what you could have had… you’ll just be blissfully happy. :]
AFM, I just want to get f’ing pregnant, already! I want Darling Husband to stop being so lax about BD, and then telling me I’m crazy for being upset when yet ANOTHER month goes past, without having conceived.
I also want family and friends to cool it on the “We’re Pregnant!” posts on Facebook. 6 within the past week has not been good for my baby fever… it’s just giving me more amo for my self-pity party. HRUMPH!

- Wedding: September 2013 - B&B
Woof. I know all about budget woes!!!!!!!!!!!! Vent away!
@hyperJulie: This was too funny! Oh David Tutera… Sometimes I think I’d have a hard time giving up ALL control but I’m pretty sure him throwing me a 100,000+ wedding would cure that…

I totally understand! This is how I felt when we were planning, like how could I be spending SO much money and still not be able to have some of the stuff I really wanted! But if it makes you feel any better, now that my wedding is over I’m perfectly happy with the way it was and don’t feel any need to of had those extra things, it was great the way it was =)
