I’d rather look like Bridget Marquad though!

Bring a pic to your gym and ask a trainer for an opinion (cheaper than paying for a session)!

I have the same goal πŸ™‚ I want the first lady’s arms and Halle Berry’s abs.  My trainer is really doing a great job with my arms.  Do you lift everytime you work out? Even when I’m doing a short workout on my own I use the 5 – 10lb weights, just to keep them tone.

Good luck!!

Ditto! My triceps are way more saggy than they have any right to be (I refer to them as my "batwings"). I’ve been doing toning exercises using a resistance band which I got at a sports store. So far the results have been pretty good.

PUSH UPS

No one likes to do them but they are sooo damn effective…. and you have to do them the right way… no sticking your booty up-thats cheating!

Who wouldn’t want her arms?

I know I read somewhere recently that she does a lot of push ups, although her version sounded a lot more hardcore than I could handle! Something about pushing up hard enough to jump into a standing position…

This cracked me up…I was just thinking that the other day! Toning my arms is at the top of my list πŸ™‚

I get up in the morning and do my cardio to burn the arm fat off and now what I’ve started doing is grabing my 5 lb dumbbell while I’m watching TV and just work on toning my arms while I’m relaxing at night. I’ve been doing this for a month now and I can really notice the difference in my arms from my light toning sessions πŸ™‚

I don’t know how Michelle O does it….two kids, a busy husband, and a smokin’ bod (especially the arms!)

i used to absolutely HATE my arms.  for me, it just took time & dedication to tone them up and love them.  lifting three times a week and also doing cardio to burn fat.  don’t forget to work out your shoulders and upper back too, all those muscles work together.  increase your reps or your weight and don’t be lazy about it!  you can do it!  and when you think you can’t finish your set just picture her arms & it will get you through.  seriously, when i’m dying during the last 10 seconds of holding a plank position i close my eyes and think "gwen stefani gwen stefani!" and it totally works.  good luck!!

Read this!

I like push ups with my legs on a balance ball.  That way, you’re working your core, too.  Another balance ball exercise is to lay your back on it with your booty up high.  Take some light (3 – 8 lb.) weights and do chest presses and some tricep curls right on the ball.  Or sit on the ball to work your biceps and shoulders!
