@salejolie:  The first Vera is beautiful and I think you should get it. Honestly I think the second dress would look too much like a prom dress in blush.

My dress is blush and sort of echos the bottom part of the two dresses you posted…there’s also some bling on the hip where the skirt starta and I’ll be adding a bling belt and Swarovski chrystal embellished veil to really liven it up;)

the front (without illusion neckline) with added belt. Bling is on the right…

Back of the dress with the illusion neckline not buttoned up in back…

I feel like the Maggie Divina has some sparkle, more shininess, that you could pair with a blingy belt.

Have you checked out the Alfred Angelo gowns from last season? They did a TON of affordable blush gowns with bling!

@salejolie:  Have you thought about getting a custom dress made? I didn’t find everything I want in one dress either, and that’s what I’m doing! I also don’t trust someone to make my dress without me being involved in the whole process, so I’m having it made by someone local. 🙂

Look into a store that carries David Tutera’s line. I remember trying on an AMAZING dress in blush that had a completely beaded bodice.

I went with my my friend to try on dresses (I’m a BM) she tried on both of those. She ended up buying the second in the non blush color. The blush in person was too pink and didn’t match up with her complexion. The first one was amazing. It was fun and had great sparkle. It has great tones of pink in the tulle. The halter is just two straps of chiffon (or could be a different material) the lady at the store played around with it showing is all the different options you could do with it (think of a convertible dress) she even gave it super cute cap sleeves and did a criss cross bolero thing that was really pretty. The options to remove the straps completely was there as well.

    hope that helps

have you tried on the first dress? I chose it and it’s honestly sooo beautiful in person so you might love it enough to make up for it not being blush
